Need help planning for your Christmas Mini Session? Please read this guide to answer any and all of your questions.
general mini prep
Sessions are 20 minutes long, which is just enough time to get all the images that i need to deliver you a great mini gallery. If you’ve worked with me in the past, you know how fast I shoot and that I am more than capable of giving you a great session in that time frame.
Mini sessions are time sensitive since we book them back to back with other clients. If you are late, that cuts into the time of your session.
We kindly ask that parents assist us in making this a successful shoot. * Do NOT schedule around nap or bed time. * Come dressed and ready to shoot! Your time is limited, so i ask that everyone arrives dressed and ready to go. *Please dress for the weather if your session is outdoors. Cold kids do NOT make happy kids. *YOU are the IT factor. We will always stay true to our minimalist style and the scenes this year reflect that. If you prefer more Christmas styled photos please remember to dress that way in the photos. You are the center of attention, not the set up. *YOU MUST ARRIVE ON TIME. IF YOU ARE LATE, THE TIME COMES OUT OF YOUR SESSION.
what to wear | styling your session
Outfits can make or break your session!
Find a color palette that you love and choose outfits that compliment each other without looking too matchy-matchy. Everyone will have a unique look without clashing in the photo.
Most importantly, be sure to wear clothes you feel comfortable in. Your confidence will really shine through in your photos! Be careful of vests and collars on children, they cover faces.
Feel free to bring cute little accessories such as scarves, hats, belts, and basically anything with a fabulous texture. Accessories can pull together an outfit and make it look complete. Plus by switching up accessories and layers, you can get multiple looks without having to do complete outfit changes.
ALL LITTLE LADIES WEARING DRESSES OR SKIRTS NEED TO WEAR SHORTS OR BLOOMERS. THIS INCLUDES BABIES OVER 6 MONTHS

I will aim to have your gallery edited and ready within 2 weeks of our session (you will get a preview gallery 3-5 days after your session). You will receive your photos in an online gallery. This allows for the quickest delivery of the images for you to easily view, download and share your photos.
